CAROLINAS METRO TRANSCENDS SPORTS

WHAT WE OFFER: The basis of this organization is to service our youth by providing a safe and professional opportunity to learn and develop their skill in baseball and softball, with extra emphasis on disadvantaged young men and women.  We have staff members that monitor the academic progress of CAROLINAS METRO INC. players and   recommend solutions to their family. We offer a FREE tutorial service, health and wellness training, physical fitness, speed and agility classes. We conduct workshops that entail various motivational speakers concentrating on academics and the importance of SAT, ACT, FAFSA as well as needed life skills: peer pressure, hygiene, TEAM concept, business and finance.   

Our organization presents young men and women opportunities that they would not receive under many circumstances. We want to give them the necessary tools to become well rounded STUDENT/athletes - productive young men and women.  Our organization teaches the ethics amd life skills needed to become a champion, not only on the field but in the classroom, place of business and life in general.

We have many success stories! We are in production of a multi-media presentation sharing video testimonials from those that have participated in our organization.  Our parent / player retention has allowed our organization to grow and continue to flourish. Many of our players and parents will tell you "we did not join a team - WE JOINED THE METRO REDS FAMILY!"

WE ARE GROWING! We founded Carolinas Metro Inc. in 2006 with one 18U team, adding a 16U team in 2010 which successfully placed runner-up in the WNC 16U State Tournament. Spring 2012 we had (2)18U teams, a 16U and added a 14U team. Our 14U team finished runner up in the 14U WNC State Tournament. Spring 2013 we added a 12U team and partnered with Stewards of the Game and the Police Athletic League to fufill a season. We will compete in an end of season tournament before moving on to WNC "All Star" tournament play. Since 2006 our organization has offered the young men and young women opportunities often not available. Our success has been achieved with insight, ability and potential in those previously overlooked by MANY! Our staff stands tall with the knowledge that our teams compete with great competitive sportmanship and 9 out of 10 of our players have gone on to college as students and many as student athletes.
